Whichever country your card was issued in, your donation will be in New Zealand dollars.

After payment of expenses, the general fund contains $2,425.72 (1 January 2012). The figure above is what has been donated through givealittle.

 

The general fund

Should the amount raised to support a teacher fall short, the trustees may choose to make up the difference from the general fund.

Our hope, though, is that through your generosity, attendees at retreats with visiting insight meditation teachers will pay no fee whatsoever.

The general fund will also pay those expenses which arise from running Aotearoa Buddhist Education Trust.

These include legal compliance such as annual audits of the accounts, developing and maintaining this website, advertising in publications such as Inquiring Mind, as well as incidental expenses.
